Exercise self control!
Self control in what you eat, drink, and think aids us to replace old habits with better ones to help reach our goals.
What in my life would I like to change, right now? Why do I want to change it? What will these changes bring about, either now or in the near future It’s always easier to put weight loss off for one more day.
People who have successfully achieved better health without dieting report the following success strategies :
Make a commitment to changing habits long-term vs. just losing weight. Become educated about sound nutrition principles. Learn to cope with emotions and stress without food. Eat when hungry and stop when full. Focus from “looking good” to honoring health and well-being. Learn to adjust portions or food intake to match activity level. Don’t sabotage yourselves, when you blow it. Seek ongoing support as needed to stay motivated.
